Panel A
Tommy looks into the ruins of Alice's broken face, expressionless. Samhain awaits his reply. Alice continues to weep.
Panel B
Samhain releases Alice's hair, and she slumps to the floor, defeated. Her golden blonde hair falls forward to frame her terrible face. Tommy only looks at her quietly, without expression.
SAMHAIN: "You must make a choice, boy. What will it be?"
Panel C
Tommy reaches out one small hand and touches Alice's chin with careful fingers. Boogy turns to look back at them now, sensing his friend's fate is about to be decided. Samhain watches stoically.
Panel D
Tommy turns Alice's face toward him, and acknowledges the terrible truth his friend was hiding from him. Alice sobs and shudders.
Panel E
Tommy leans forward to kiss Alice on the cheek, and as he does so her face repairs itself, all the broken fragments of her mask reforming -- returning her to the lovely young girl he came to love.
