Panel A
Alice, Boogy, Baba Yaga, and all the gathered demons scream in fear as Handsome whips his arm around Samhain's narrow chest and draws the old man's body against him like a shield. With his other hand he holds the scalpel to Samhain's throat. Even with his eyes and mouth sewn shut, the Lord of Death is clearly afraid.
HANDSOME: "I will have what you took from me, old man."
Panel B
Everyone screams as Handsome draws the blade of the scalpel across Samhain's mouth, slicing through the black thread that has held his mouth closed all this time.
Panel C
Samhain's mouth opens impossibly wide, revealing the black void hidden behind those lips.
Panel D
Handsome releases Samhain and steps away from him as the Lord of Death becomes the center of a black vortex, drawing all the demons in the room into the black pit of his throat. Baba Yaga screams as she clings to a pillar. Alice and Boogy fall to their knees, clutching at each other as the wind whips their hair and clothing. A few of the demons, caught by surprise, are airborne and tumbling towards the center of the vortex.
HANDSOME (shouting): "Did you think I didn't know what you really are?"
