Panel A
Boogy stands, shrugging off the chains that bound him. He seems tired and out of sorts. Samhain continues to address Alice.
SAMHAIN: "Were they still alive, your mothers would be pleased to see you behaving so reasonably."
Panel B
Boogy crosses the room to stand beside Alice, dropping his chains to the floor.
SAMHAIN: "So like the Princess you once were."
Panel C
Boogy, standing at Alice's side, snarls at Samhain. Alice restrains him with a hand on his too-long arm. Samhain grins his tight-lipped smile.
BOOGY: "YOU BASTARD! How dare you speak to her like that?"
ALICE: "Boogy..."
Panel D
Boogy, enraged, urges Alice to fight. Alice only bows her head. Samhain continues to smile.
BOOGY: "C'MON Alice! Use the bag! His blades are the only things that can hurt him!"
ALICE: "Boogy..."
Panel E
Boogy almost weeps as he realizes that they have lost. Samhain does not smile as he explains what only he and Alice already know.
SAMHAIN: "She cannot. We have made a deal, and it must be honored. Your freedom, Bogen, means that the bag no longer recognizes her as its master. You are free from retaliation or punishment young man. Be grateful."
