Panel A
Handsome steps aside and holsters his gun. He still looks nervous. Alice addresses him in passing as she advances towards the old man.
ALICE: "You'll get your turn."
Panel B
The old man stands to greet Alice. Alice stops several yards away, raises her chin defiantly. The others watch anxiously.
???: "My dear Alice."
ALICE: "Lord Samhain."
Panel C
Lord Samhain addresses Alice.
SAMHAIN: "I have cherished you as my favorite pupil. I have indulged your curiosities. I must admit that I have observed your antics with no small measure of pride."
Panel D
Continue scene.
SAMHAIN: "You have dared to do the unthinkable, going against your own nature to defy me. But by now you must realize that what you seek is beyond your reach. Your quest is quite hopeless."
Panel E
Continue scene.
SAMHAIN: "And so I ask you now to accept my forgiveness, and return to me, so that I do not have to destroy you."
