Panel A
Tommy looks terrified as Alice advances on him in a rage.
ALICE: "I tried to be nice."
Panel B
Alice grabs the frightened boy roughly by the arm as she yells at him.
ALICE: "I tried to be good."
Panel C
Alice grabs Tommy with both hands, pinning his arms to his sides. Tommy is clearly frightened and hurt.
TOMMY: "Alice?"
ALICE: "SHUT UP! You've ruined everything you stupid boy!"
Panel D
Alice continues to yell at Tommy. Tommy starts to cry.
TOMMY: "What did I do?"
ALICE: "The demons are free. They roam the halls of the Nacre Expanse. At their master's bidding they search for doorways into this world."
Panel E
Alice continues to yell at the frightened Tommy.
ALICE: "And every time they cross over, the walls between our worlds crumble a little bit more. Back and forth. Back and forth."
