Alice Issue #4

Page 1

Hey! Where's the Artwork?

Panel A

Interior of Closet, the ancient fortress of hallways and doorways, where Boogy and Alice live. A neat little hallway of laid stone, lined with doors bearing stylized crests, like a child's coat of arms.

Panel B

Deeper in the interior of Closet. The walls lean in, oppressive. It is dark, and the doors here are old, and worn. The crests are faded and cracked.

Panel C

A sloping, leaning hallway that curves deeper into the belly of Closet. The doors here are warped and splintered. The crests are broken or missing entirely.

Panel D

A cavernous hallway, deep in the belly of Closet. The doors here are locked, chained, or barred. There are no crests, and the floor is littered with debris. Johnny Handsome's hoody lies discarded on the stone floor.

Panel E

Johnny kneeling before an ancient looking door, working at the lock with his lock-picks. Scattered around him are three wooden beams that once barred the door; piles of chains and discarded padlocks; a wad of yellow police tape that reads "DO NOT CROSS". Johnny is dirty and sweaty.

JOHNNY: "Here we go."
