Alice Issue #1

Page 13

Hey! Where's the Artwork?

Panel A

Alice and Boogy standing on the playground next to the man's bloodied corpse, still bound to the seesaw. Boogy is holding a large burlap sack open, and Alice has her arm in it up to the elbow, apparently putting something inside.

ALICE: "That was easy."

BOOGY: "Pretty, too."

Panel B:

Boogy ties off the bag, which seems to contain something much too large to have come out of the victim's body. Alice is wiping her hands with a towel.

ALICE: "Why thank you! It's so nice to have one's talents recognized."

Panel C

Alice and Boogy both turn to look at a man who has suddenly appeared at the edge of the light.

HANDSOME: "Well done. Yes, that was neatly done."

Panel D

The man steps forward into the light and we get a better look at him. Handsome is: A conspicuously average looking man, athletic, dressed in form fitting dark clothing. A holster on each hip holds his two pistols. Alice and Boogy face him, side by side.

HANDSOME: "Strictly speaking I should have stopped you, but I so wanted to observe the procedure."

Panel E

The man grins at the pair.

HANDSOME: "You don't mind, do you?"
