Boogy follows Alice sheepishly towards the hallway door as the glow of the closet begins to fade.
Panel B
Tommy, sensing that certain doom has been averted, peeks from his covers to see Alice and Boogy standing at his bedroom door, about to leave.
Panel C
Tommy gasps,
TOMMY: *gasp*
Alice and Boogy turn surprised eyes towards the bed.
Panel D
Boogy leers and grins, but Alice smiles sweetly and places one pale finger over her lips in that universal gesture of censure,
ALICE: "Shhh."
Panel E
And they are gone. Tommy is alone again in his room. The closet door open but dark, the bedroom door wide open but empty, spilling the familiar light of home into his room.
