Continue scene. Alice brings the surgical mask up over her mouth and nose, begins to tie it in back.
ALICE: "Because there is something evil inside them. And it needs to come out."

Continue scene. Tommy watches anxiously as Alice lays out her surgical tools on the bedside table.
TOMMY: "What is it?"

Continue scene. Alice selects a scalpel from her tools and holds it up to examine the blade in the light.
ALICE: "Despair."
