Panel A
Tommy's house again. Tommy and Alice are in his parents' room. Although the lights are on and Tommy and Alice make no efforts to be quiet, the two adults do not stir from their sleep. Alice has her medical bag open and is putting a bottle of dark brown glass back into it.
ALICE: "They won't wake up until morning."
Panel B
Continue scene. Alice pulls on a pair of surgical gloves as Tommy watches anxiously.
ALICE: "Are you sure about this?"
TOMMY: "No. But..."
Panel C
Continue scene. Alice ties a surgical mask around her neck.
TOMMY: "If you can help them stop fighting..."
ALICE: "I can."
Panel D
Tommy approaches the bed and looks down at his parents. Alice watches over his shoulder.
TOMMY: "What are you going to do?"
Panel E
Tommy and Alice stand over his parents as they sleep.
ALICE: "I'm going to operate."
