Hey! Where's the Artwork?

Panel A

Across the street in Sarah's house. In Sarah's room again, Handsome has tied her parents to Sarah's bed. Sarah cowers in the corner, hugging her legs to her chest. Handsome stands before her, arms crossed as he glares down at her.

HANDSOME: "You got a nice house here, kid. Real cozy. 'Safe as houses', that's what they say right?"

Panel B

Handsome continues talking to Sarah as he approaches her chest of drawers, and looks at all the pretty porcelain figurines arrayed atop its surface.

HANDSOME: "Parents are good to you? Attentive. Loving. Not too strict?"

Panel C

Handsome squats on his haunches so he can look directly at the figurines. They are pretty little things, sweet things, each bearing a single word of affirmation like "Joy" "Grace" or "Love".

HANDSOME: "You go to church? Good schools? Birthday parties with cake and ice cream? All that typical middle-class bullshit."

Panel D

Handsome draws a pistol as he stands to look down at the figurines. His face is impassive, distant. Wistful.

HANDSOME: "All those pretty things. Such a comfort. Such a joy."

Panel E

Handsome raises the pistol in his fist, holding it by the barrel like a hammer. His expression becomes a grimace of hate.

HANDSOME: "Such a LIE!"
